Jorge Velázquez


Jorge is an Associate at Ibarra, del Paso y Gallego, S.C. where he specializes in Civil, Commercial and Administrative Litigation.


Jorge has been practicing Law since 2015, representing national and foreign clients in contentious matters in Civil, Commercial, Administrative, Fiscal, Criminal, and Constitutional matters.


He began his professional career as a Law Clerk in 2015 working for the Law Firm Enlace Jurídico, S.C., supporting the Corporate Law and Litigation areas.

In 2016 he worked for the Law Firm García Hidalgo & Tax Advisor, S.C., where he worked in the Tax and Administrative Litigation areas.

In 2017 he worked as a Junior Lawyer for the Firm Moheno, González y Oropeza, S.C., working in the Civil, Commercial, Administrative and Criminal Litigation areas.

From October 2018 he joined Ibarra, del Paso y Gallego, S.C. as Junior Associate in the Civil, Commercial and Administrative litigation areas, where he had the opportunity to work on foreign investment projects for the acquisition of rights of way, in private and ejido land, for the transport of hydrocarbons in national territory, as well as in various dispute resolution procedures.


Jorge obtained his Bachelor Degree in Law (JD/LL.B. equivalent) from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Máxico, in 2019.

He holds a Diploma in Corporate Law from the aforementioned University.

Courses taught by the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation in “Amparo Trial” and “The Supreme Court and Human Rights”, 2021.


Jorge is a Spanish native speaker and is fluent in English.
