Increase on Minimum Wages for 2025

On December 3rd, 2024, the National Minimum Wages Commission approved an increase on the minimum wages for next year on 12%.

Therefore, the daily general minimum wage for 2025 will increase from $248.93 Mexican Pesos (approx. US$12.50) to $278.80 Mexican exican Pesos (approx. orox Us$14.00).

For the northern border area, the daily general minimum wage will also increase in the same percentage, from $374.89 Mexican pesos (approx. US$18.75) to $419.88 Mexican pesos (approx. US$21.00).

It is worth mentioning that as of January 1st, 2025, all employees must have a salary equal or higher to the minimum wage with the increase detailed above.
