Cristina has 6 years of experience as a lawyer and internationalist in our country. Throughout her professional career, she has distinguished herself for her professionalism and problem-solving ability.

Her practice covers issues related to tax and international law in both the public and private sectors. It also includes extensive knowledge of international politics and strategic planning.

Trajectory

Cristina began her professional career at Zebra Technologies Enterprise de México, S. de R.L. de C.V. (2018-2021), where she worked as a Senior Representative for Customer and Partner Services in Latin America. During this time, she was in charge of reviewing contracts, incoterms and quotes, generating reports, and supporting billing and import issues.

She also worked as Deputy Administrator of International Exchange of Information at the Tax Administration Service (2021-2023), where she was responsible for reviewing transnational tax planning, coordinating, and resolving OECD evaluations on tax matters, applying international treaties, and collaborating with Tax Administrations of other countries, among other activities.

Before joining our team, Cristina worked as Senior of International Taxation at Ernst & Young (EY) (2023-2025), where she was in charge of advising on transnational tax planning, advising on compliance with tax obligations derived from international operations, advice on acquisitions, mergers and restructuring, payments abroad analysis, application of international treaties, among other.

Credentials

Cristina has a degree in International Relations from Universidad La Salle (2014-2018).

As a complement to her academic formation, she has a Law Degree from Universidad Latinoamericana (2019-2023) and a Master’s Degree in Tax Law from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (2023-2024).

 

In addition to this, she has taken relevant courses in her area of specialty, such as:

  • Basic concepts about Transfer Pricing. – Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (2023).
  • Crypto assets and the “Gig and Sharing” Economy – Tax Administration Service (2022).
  • Tax Regime for Derivative Financial Transactions. – Tax Administration Service (2021).

Cristina speaks Spanish, is fluent in English and has knowledge of French and basic knowledge of Russian.
