With more than 15 years working in Real Estate transactions, Alfonso has established himself as a trusted advisor in the legal Real Estate market. He has represented various national and international clients–including Foreign Public Pension Funds, Private Equity Funds and, FIBRAS (Mexican REIT’s)–in the acquisition of industrial and commercial real estate portfolios. Some of these acquisitions are considered to be the most relevant real estate transactions in Mexico and Latin America in the last few years.
Trajectory
Prior to joining Ibarra del Paso Gallego Alfonso served for more 10 years at Creel, García-Cuellar, Aiza y Enríquez, S.C., at the Real Estate practice; prior to that, he served as in-house counsel at Planigrupo and Grupo GDI.
Credentials
Alfonso’s impressive credentials include a Master of Laws (LL.M) from Northwestern’s Pritzker School of Law and a Certificate in Business Administration from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, as well as a Master in Corporate Law from Universidad Panamericana.
