These reforms are aimed at modernizing and updating construction processes and urban infrastructure improvement through the implementation of digital tools and more efficient administrative procedures.

Publication and Current Content

The modifications introduced in the regulations present several key innovations:

  1. Digital Transaction Platform: Mandatory implementation of the digital platform for managing all construction-related procedures, aiming for more efficient and less bureaucratic administration.
  2. Neighborhood Notice: New simplified system to authorize minor works on secondary public roads, which will facilitate the execution of significant local improvements.
  3. Telecommunications Infrastructure: Introduction of streamlined processes for installing vital infrastructure for telecommunications services, with the goal of simplifying the obtaining of necessary permits.
  4. Parking Spaces for Digital Platforms: Establishment of reserved spaces for bicycles and motorcycles used in digital delivery services at commercial establishments, thus promoting sustainable mobility.

Impact of the Reform

These reforms will significantly facilitate the procedures associated with construction and will promote efficiency in urban improvement projects. Similarly, they support the integration of modern technologies and sustainable practices in urban planning, offering opportunities for process optimization and active participation in a renewed and accessible urban environment. The reforms have come into force immediately, marking a substantial change in the dynamics of construction and infrastructure in Mexico City.
