María Eugenia is admitted to practice law in Mexico since 2006. She handles a wide variety of insurance and bonding, bankruptcy and contracts litigation, as well as amparo procedures.

María Eugenia started her professional practice in 2004 in litigation matters at Martínez, Algaba, de Haro, Curiel y Galván Duque, S.C.

She advises domestic and international companies on general litigation matters, cases related with insurance and bonding, breach of contracts, family matters, amparo and bankruptcy procedures.

Some of the significant companies and matters in which María Eugenia has participated the following:

  • AXA insurance company, in connection with different claims regarding insurance policy coverage issues.*
  • Commercial litigation related with stock exchange investments.*
  • María Eugenia has also advised and represented various Mexican real estate developers in dispute resolutions as well as with regulatory matters in connection with the marketing and operation of commercial and housing real properties.

*María Eugenia participated in these litigations before joining Ibarra, del Paso, Gallego y Berezowsky, S.C.

María Eugenia obtained her Law Degree (JD/LL.B. equivalent) from Universidad Iberoamericana, (Mexico City) in 2006.

María Eugenia is a Spanish native speaker and is fluent in English.
